Besides meaning "yes, tell me more..." in spanish, ajá* is a Latina-run music media platform based in Brussels that highlights both
international and local talent. This is done through concert reviews, events, interviews, and witty tiktoks. All of this is done from a Latina point of view.

On A Bay That Belonged To None Of Us

Dónde están los pájaros? is an essay included in an anthology, On A Bay That Belonged To None Of Us, that recollects the stories of a class trip to the coast of Rockport, Texas. Birds are my main subject since their migrating nature reminded me of my own experience moving from Bolivia to the United States. In my essay, I emphasized my sense of longing and remembrence through photographs from this trip and song lyrics.
