2020–Ongoing
An ongoing collection of photograms that capture the connection between my loved ones and me. It was conceived during the 2020 pandemic, a time that made me rethink how truly temporary our lives are. A photogram’s fleeting nature is similar to our mortality. Like the hands’ impressions, we too slowly fade over time. It is important to me to use image-making as a way to memorialize these intimate moments, so that even when we are gone our connections remain—proving that we were here.
