“This project our a collective response to the state of emergency we are currently facing. Today's youth has been plagued by global tragedies, which have gradually destroyed the foundations of a worldwide community. Together, with other young people of different nationalities residing in Barcelona, we articulate the perceptions and aspirations that our generation holds toward the future of the world. Through The Forest, we want to highlight the ecosystem of uncertainty, optimism, and hope in which we live.”

The Forest is a physical and online installation conceived and produced for the Can Framis Museum by the students of the ELISAVA Master in Photography and Design 2023–2024.

“Este proyecto es nuestra respuesta colectiva al estado de emergencia que estamos enfrentando actualmente. La juventud de hoy se ha visto plagada por tragedias globales, que de a poco han ido destruyendo los fundamentos de una comunidad mundial. Junto a otros jóvenes de diferentes nacionalidades que residen de Barcelona, articulamos las percepciones y aspiraciones que nuestra generación tiene cuando se trata del futuro mundial. A través de The Forest, queremos resaltar el ecosistema de incertidumbre, optimismo, y esperanza en el que vivímos.”

The Forest es una exhibición física ideada y producidad por los alumnos del Máster de Fotografía & Diseño de ELISAVA (2023–2024) para el Museo Can Framis.
